SUVISHESHA MAHAYOGAM’S FLAG HOISTED
Malankara’s largest gospel meeting’s flag hoisted on 23rd December Sunday at 5pm.The events started with the Flag Rally from Kolencherry St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church.H G Alias Mor Athanasias flag offed the rally.MGJSM Pallikkara Region’s flexes decorated the chariot.Hundreds of vehicles accompanied the flag.MGJSM Pallikkara Region members lead the way for the rally.Rally was welcomed on its way at patham mile.Puthencruz Merchents Association gave a warm welcome to the rally at Puthencruz.And the Chariot entered Patriarchal Center were the Mahayogam is scheduled.Then the flag was handed over to the the suvishesha sangam president H G Alias Mor Athanasiaus by MGJSM Pallikkara Region Members.Then the flag was hoisted by H B Thomas 1st Cathalicose in the presence of H G Joseph Mor Gregorios and H G Alias Mor Athanasias,George Manthottam CorEpiscopa,Baby Chamakkala CorEpiscopa,Peter Illimoottil CorEpiscopa.After the flag hoisting tea and snacks were provided for all those who attended.
MGJSM MORAKKALA CELEBRATED CHRISTMAS
MGJSM Morakkala celebrated Christmas on 23 December 2012 Sunday after holy mass.Rev Fr Babu Varghese presided over the function.Rev Fr Eldhose Thelapilly,Trustees K K Alias,V J Issac,MGJSM Pallikkara Regional Vice President Dn Henu Thampi,Regional Secretary Shinil Paul Mathews& Unit Secretary Akhil Shaju were present,Rinto Kuriakose welcomed the gathering.Christmas cake was cut by Rev Fr Babu Varghese.Christmas message was delivered by Rev Fr Babu Varghese.Rev FR Eldhose Thelapilly also spoke about christmas.Regional Secretary Shinil Paul Mathews gave an insightful speech.Then came the interactive session by Dn Henu Thampy.The session ended with Vote of Thanks by Issac.Lunch was provided to those who attended

MGJSM Thamarachal has raised a gigantic larger than human size star at Thamarachal Valiyapally as part of christmas celebration.MGJSM Thamarachal unit is also planning to distribute cake on 25th after holy mass to rejoice this happy day.

MGJSM KIZHAKKAMBALAM TO BE FORMED
MGJSM Pallikara Region’s fifth unit to be formed on 30th December 2012 at St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church,Kizhakkambalam.Formation meeting will start at 10:30am.Vicar V Rev E C Varghese CorEpiscopa will preside over the meeting.Trustee Jobin Jacob,& Regional Secretary Shinil Paul Mathews will also be present.Officebearers of the new unit will also be elected.Regional committee member from the parish Bibin Joy Thuruthummel will coodinate the function.

Christmas celebration of St Marys Students Movement,Morakkala will be held on 23 December,Sunday by 11am after the holy mass.Christmas Message will be delivered by Dn Henu (Varghese) Thampi,Vice President MGJSM Pallikara Region.Vicar Fr Babu Varghese,Unit Working President Rev Fr Eldhose Thelapilly, Vice President Ajith S Panackal,Secretary Akhil Shaju,Regional Secretary Shinil Paul Mathews will attend.Christmas games will follow the message.All members are requested to attend.

MGJSM kutta unit was inaugrated on 9th December 2012,after the Holy Mass,by H G Mathews Mor Ivaniaus(Kandanad Diocese) handing over the nameflex,which he received from Vicar Fr Thomas Chembothukudy & Unit Secretary Mathew Eldhose,to Regional Vice President Dn Henu Thampi,Regional Secretary Shinil Paul Mathews & Regional Treasurer Akhil Shaju.
The day which was celebrated as the Fest of St Koorilose by the parish was also taken for starting this new venture with the blessing of that Saint.
To mark their presence the new unit ran a bookstall during the fest.
The active participation of students were viewed throughout these programs.

MGJSM KUTTA FORMED
Kutta:MGJSM unit under St George Jacobite Syrian Church,Kutta came into existence on 2nd December 2012.The formation meeting , which began by 10:30, was presided over by the Vicar of St George Jacobite Church, Kutta, Rev Fr Thomas Chembithukudy who will serve as the president of the unit.MGJSM Pallikara Regional Vice President Rev Dn Varghese (Henu) Thampi, who is the coordinator of the unit,organized the meeting.MGJSM Pallikara Regional Treasurer Akhil Shaju spoke about the relevance of a Students Movement in this modern world.Trustees of the parish K K Thampy,Kizhakkeoruppuppil & Eldho Mathew,Parappillikuzhiyil also spoke during the meeting.The office bearers for the coming year was elected.The year plan for the year 2013 was also drafted.Main decisions made were to have a book stall during the church fest, which is on 9th December.& to give food to an orphanage on Christmas eve.It was also decided that during vacation days members will visit old and sick people.The meeting dispersed by 12noon.
