MGJSM OORAKKAD INAUGURATED

Oorakkad: MGJSM Oorakkad unit was inaugurated on 23rd June Sunday by H G Mathews Mor Aphrem Metropolitan.In the meeting attended by more than 100 conducted after the mass was presided over by Vicar Rev Fr Varghese Manarambil.Fr Eldhose Puthenpurackal, Regional Secretary Shinil Paul Mathews, Trustee Mathappan,Ouseph P Urumath, Secretary Issac, Sundau School Headmaster T M Mathew, Sexton Mathai spoke.The meeting ended by 1pm

MGJSM Oorakkad formation meeting conducted on April 7th Sunday after holy mass at St Thomas Church.Vicar Rev Fr Varghese Mabaramppil presided over the function which was attended by nearly 50 members.Regional Secretary cum Coordinator Shinil Paul Mathews explained about the movement and its aims.Trustee felicitated.The meeting also elected the Adhoc Committee as follows:

MGJSM KIZHAKKAMBALAM FORMED

MGJSM Kizhakkambalam formed on 30th December 2012 in a brief session held at St Peters and St Pauls Church, Kizhakkambalam under the presidency of Rev Fr E C Varghese CorEpiscopa.Bibin Joy, regional committee member from the parish was elected as the Secretery of the Adhoc committee that was formed during the meeting.Meenu Thankachan was elected as the Vice President and a 8 membered committee was formed.The meeting decided to increase the members and have a formal election and inaugration by the end of January.

MGJSM Pallikara Region’s fifth unit to be formed on 30th December 2012 at St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church,Kizhakkambalam.Formation meeting will start at 10:30am.Vicar V Rev E C Varghese CorEpiscopa will preside over the meeting.Trustee Jobin Jacob,& Regional Secretary Shinil Paul Mathews will also be present.Officebearers of the new unit will also be elected.Regional committee member from the parish Bibin Joy Thuruthummel will coodinate the function.

MGJSM KUTTA FORMED

Kutta:MGJSM unit under St George Jacobite Syrian Church,Kutta came into existence on 2nd December 2012.The formation meeting , which began by 10:30, was presided over by the Vicar of St George Jacobite Church, Kutta, Rev Fr Thomas Chembithukudy who will serve as the president of the unit.MGJSM Pallikara Regional Vice President Rev Dn Varghese (Henu) Thampi, who is the coordinator of the unit,organized the meeting.MGJSM Pallikara Regional Treasurer Akhil Shaju spoke about the relevance of a Students Movement in this modern world.Trustees of the parish K K Thampy,Kizhakkeoruppuppil & Eldho Mathew,Parappillikuzhiyil also spoke during the meeting.The office bearers for the coming year was elected.The year plan for the year 2013 was also drafted.Main decisions made were to have a book stall during the church fest, which is on 9th December.& to give food to an orphanage on Christmas eve.It was also decided that during vacation days members will visit old and sick people.The meeting dispersed by 12noon.
